  • I had an appointment yesterday with Jessica, and overall I am impressed! My original appointment was supposed to be in a couple weeks from now, but they had to cancel it and I was pleased that it was rescheduled so quickly. Overall the service was lovely - Jessica looked at the photos I provided and said there wouldn't be any problems achieving what I wanted. I had balayage highlights - going from mostly virgin, brown hair to highlights that were a lighter ashy brown/blonde. The process was relatively quick (about 3 hours), as my hair is quite fine and not too dark. The execution was excellent - even after drying my hair, Jessica saw something she didn't like and went in with more colour to blend it out more. I really appreciate that, as I wouldn't have ever noticed on my own, so it's evident they take great pride in their work. I have had an absolute nightmare balayage job in the past at another salon, (see previous review for photos), so I was definitely apprehensive, but the wait for this salon was well worth it. The only negative I have to say is it came out way blonder than I had anticipated (like almost white in some spots - a beautiful colour but not what I am used to, and it was hard to tell in the dim lighting of the salon), but I'm going to give it some time to see how it fades/if the initial shock wears off before I decide to go back in and have it toned down. Overall I am impressed and I'll be back for sure!
