  • My friend called at 430pm and said let's go play. We got on a plane, landed and headed to my favorite restaurant on the strip for dinner, people watching and a great view of the Bellagio water show while the sun started to set . Bonus -they were filming something in front of the fountains. Fun to watch. When we got there, there was a 30 minute wait for a seat on the patio but if you happen to tip the girls in front your table outside comes up much quicker. We split the steak tartar appetizer. My friend had the blt salad and I had the salmon salad. The blt was super spicy! Very different. My salmon salad was delicious. I usually come here for brunch when I visit. Everything is delicious. The bread with the carrot spread is yummy! We also had wine by the glass. Nice Sancerre. We finished with the bread pudding. Not my favorite.(being my family has roots in new orleans - best bread pudding town) Anyway, I probably would have gone with the creme brulee but my friend wanted bread pudding. We shared it with the gentlemen from Ohio sitting at the table next to us. They liked it. And I was happy to have gone one of my favorite restaurants impromptu and still make it back home before midnight. Lol
