I was really excited to go to this restaurant because of the amazing reviews. Here's the nitty gritty. The service was excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly, gracious, and warm. I felt like I was at a real mom and pop joint. The place was clean and extremely accommodating considering my two toddler boys were running amuck (yikes!) The bad: There's a smoking patio RIGHT next to the entrance. I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke and it kind of sucked having to walk my kids through it. The meh: the food. As much as I want to give this place a great review for the food (because their service was so great) but I really can't. The free potato skins were okay (yelp checkin deal), the dinner rolls actually were pretty good, the baked potato was... nothing special, and the ribeye was meh. I was especially disappointed with the ribeye and so was my husband. It wasn't horrible, it wasn't great, it was just okay. Maybe my high expectations were the problem, but maybe not. I'll stick with our favorite steakhouse for now (Bobby Q).
