  • I would encourage you to ignore any reviews that complain about the donuts being too sweet. Hurts specializes in amazing, over the top, donuts. Being sweet and ridiculous, is part of the point. If you're looking for a bagel, muffin, danish, or croissant, then you will have to visit your local bakery. When I first visited Hurts, I'll admit, I was skeptical. I assumed it was a gimmick and that the donuts were all the same with different junk piled on top. That's not the case at all. There's a variety of donut flavors and all the various toppings/flavors are well thought out. I've yet to have a donut flavor that doesn't work. Of course, some flavors are better than others. My favorite is the Maple Bacon Bar. While technically not a donut, the sweetness of the donut and maple toping go great with the saltiness of the bacon. Bottom line: Hurts Donuts taste great!
