| - Meh. This hotel is located in downtown Toronto. I would expect, for how expensive it is, for them to have better service and clean your rooms. The day I walked in the sink counters were not as clean as they should be. The next day after they cleaned there were still dirty floors and the counters weren't cleaned, the toilet paper was not restocked etc. Everyone was perfectly nice, especially at the front desk, but I feel like the hotel is overpriced for the quality they serve. Additionally, there's three elevators out of which one doesn't work and the other two were super slow. Basically they have two elevators for 17 floors and it takes forever to get somewhere. One day I was waiting over eight minutes for an elevator.
You do have a free breakfast in the morning here and free Wi-Fi. I think if you bring a car it cost about $15 a night, Canadian dollars. The whole neighborhood is nice but I think the hotel isn't in the best part of the neighborhood and a few times while I was hanging outside the hotel doors, on hotel property, several people came up to me and asked me for money, repeatedly. That shouldn't be allowed to happen on the property.
I just feel there is a lot of room for improvement. Like I said the staff is nice, no one was rude or mean and I had no issues with them but overall, it needs some work. Too pricey for what you get!
