  • This was the very first time and the very last time I'll stay at the Golden gate. The room was very small and had a slight smell of sewage when you entered the room. The staff were okay with some being much nicer than others. I'm a very neat/clean person so when I ventured to the ice machine I couldn't help but notice the corridor carpeting... It was filthy. It appeared it hadn't been actually cleaned in quite a while. Luckily "Freemont Street" took away a bit of the sting. Not a place I'd recommend.
