| - So, my fiancée and I are getting married in a month and a half, in Chicago...because we live there. Her father lives in Phoenix.
Since it seems to be the thing to do, I decided to wear a tuxedo to my wedding, and I figured that the wedding party and men in the immediate family should do the same....simple enough, right?
I pick a tux for my wedding (aka, my fiancée picked a tux for me for her wedding) and the people at the location we are getting the tuxes from give us the sizing information to pass along to all the other men wearing tuxes for the wedding. They said that any reputable rental/retail bridal/tuxedo shop would be more than willing to do the sizing so the information could be passed to them to order the tuxes required. Simple enough right?
Well, that's where Kaira's comes into play. My future father-in-law stopped by Kaira's with his size sheet asking to be measured for a tux for his daughters wedding...IN FREAKING CHICAGO! Kaira's says NO! They will not help him! He explains that the wedding is in Chicago and the rental company is not national and that they needed his size to get a tux. They say no again, they will absolutely not measure tuxes for anyone unless they are renting the tux from their location.
Now, I had to get measured for my tux, so I know how long it takes. I understand that 23.8 seconds is a lot of time to take to help a father attend his daughter's wedding in a state 1,200 miles away....errrr, wait...no, I don't understand that. It actually makes the company/store seem pretty pathetic. In fact, if you happen to own a retail/rental tuxedo shop outside of Phoenix and find out someone needs to get measured at your shop for a tuxedo at Kaira's in Phoenix, please say no. They wouldn't be willing to help you out, let them drown in their own short-sited ignorance.
Thank you, though, for setting a new standard on how I will rate other businesses in the future. From now on Kaira's will be the absolute basement for ratings and God help any business that is as awful, because I couldn't even imagine something being worse.
