The 12/1/14 review could've been written by me. Same thing is still happening. After hospital I was told to see my Dr within 3 days of discharge. I was told the dr wasn't available for 3 wks & if I didn't want to wait, I could see the PA. Which is what had to do. I am a relatively new patient and am sorry I didn't read these posts sooner. Dr Jordan was recommended by a friend who is now also looking to change physicians for the same reason. I should've been alerted when I felt like I had to force the issue of being able to meet with the dr as a new patient. Also, Dr gave me an ecg (ekg) as part of my annual physical, which was a new one on me since I'm a very active healthy person. She said it looked like I had had a silent heart attack and referred me to a cardiologist. I sat there with my mouth open and in shock. I certainly want to know if somethings wrong but I think she's an alarmist. The cardiologist said sometimes Dr's don't read the ecg quite right. Nothing was wrong but I went thru anxiety and feared a heart attack (hence the hosp visit) all sorts of tests, etc. Additionally, because I had had a squamous cell skin cancer taken care of by dermatologist, she said those cells can migrate into my lung and sent me for a chest x-ray. My derm later said that's not the case with squamous skin cancer. Sorry this is so lengthy, but I feel others should know what kind of physician Dr Jordan is... when you can get to see her and not PA.
