  • due to the good review and I had good experience first time I went there, I decided to try getting my oil change here for the first time at precision performance since I haven't have an expensive oil change for a while. However, they did something that made me question about their work ethic and I'm not sure if I want to come back :( When I go pick up the car, I noticed my bill was $27 higher on a brand new radiator cap. I was really puzzled, the shop owner told me he found my cap was old and "went ahead" and changed it for me, but....if you find out something wrong, I would appreciate you can call me and get my approval first....but he explained that most of his customers are long term customers so they usually just go ahead and do the work without having to communicate, but the point is I AM NOT their long term customer, and even if I am their long term customer, I would still appreciate they could call me and let me know before they go ahead and charge me $25 on a radiator cap. The story continued....when I got home, I checked my new radiator cap and noticed something just wasn't right, I didn't remember my radiator cap has white sticker on, so I found pictures online and notice an OEM radiator cap for my car suppose to have orange and white/yellow color on it, I even called my car dealership to confirm the color and price, it turned out precision performance did charge me OEM price on an after market radiator cap(which was only about $8 on ebay for an after market cap). I called precision performance right away and they told me they didn't realize they ran out of OEM cap so they put on the after market cap for me, but how can you charge your customer full OEM price the moment you put on the 3rd market cap on their vehicle? I was so disappointed, I felt like I was taken advantage of, even though later on owner was nice enough to order the OEM for me and changed it, but it was my valuable time wasted right there, I did not appreciate this one bit and I was really disappointed, I'm sure they are good car mechanic, but all these little things just tells me a lot about them, I still appreciate them being nice and polite but I'm sorry that I will not be coming back. (this happened about an year ago, I actually felt bad having to leave this bad review, but I wanted to express myself in my most honest opinion)
