rev:text	TPC Las Vegas had a great special for the time when their greens were punched and sanded - and we took advantage of it! They were offering $100 for the round, a $25 voucher for food / beverage / pro shop, and free rentals! It was almost like they were paying us to play there. We did get out at 7:00am on a Saturday, which kept us out of the heat, but also with a 5:30am wake-up in Vegas... trade-offs I guess! We went into the round knowing the conditions of the greens, and agreed to a 2-putt max, and we had an absolute blast and an amazing 2 hour and 45 minute round without seeing another soul on the course, other than the courteous grounds crew, who did a great job of turning off their equipment while we were taking our shots. The rest of the course was in great shape, the staff was first class, and we had one of my most favorite "golf experiences" in a long time! It was one of those rounds where we played well, paid a great price for the quality of the course, and just had an all-around outstanding time. I can't wait to go back! I do want to thank the staff that helped us with the planning during the week and during the day including Joe M., Andrew, Justin, the starter from Syracuse, and the woman at the turn snack shack, and the breakfast restaurant staff. One more thing that I've NEVER SEEN AT ANY OTHER COURSE! When choosing our clubs, they said "What type would you like?" - which I figured to mean "regular flex or stiff flex". No... they were actually offering TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist, or Ping clubs! This was First Class - and what I think the founders envisioned when they developed the TPC brand. It was very impressive!
