  • My interest in hockey started when my sister took me to my first hockey game in San Jose (San Jose Sharks vs Washington Capitals). The interest grew gradually as I started watching more games (mostly on TV, some in person). I'm a Los Angeles Kings fan and a Winnipeg Jets fan. I know, it's pretty random, but I became a Jets fan since my husband is from Winnipeg and he only paid for Canadian satellite to access Winnipeg Jets games. Anyway, I just recently had the opportunity to go to Toronto and couldn't pass up an opportunity to go to a hockey museum. I didn't have any expectations coming into this museum, but I wanted to at least learn one thing from this great sport. The staff are nice and I didn't think the entry fee was too expensive (18 Canadian). The museum has many exhibits (last time I checked their map, 17): TSN Theatre, Tim Hortons Theatre, Honda NHL Zone, Tissot World of Hockey, etc (http://www.hhof.com/htmlexhibits/ex00.shtml) There's a lot to see and you can even try to embarrass yourself and pretend to be a goalie or a forward lol. You can even pretend to be a TSN reporter and try to read from a teleprompter! I took home a HHOF shirt and a small $1 HHOF puck. Overall, my experience was positive, but I didn't have a lot of time to read everything. In fact, I was in a hurry because I was really in Toronto for a wedding. I would come back again if I can. A must in Toronto for hockey fans around the world :)
