  • I had been going to this vet since the 90s', but as of a week ago, no longer. I am not going to provide a lot of details of the last straw, as my sister still goes there (really likes Dr. Lane) and I don't want any fallout on her if they read these postings. Just got really sick and tired of being pressured to spend a lot of money all the time for this test and that test and feeling guilted when declining some of the suggested tests. Never felt this way when Dr. Burgman was there (was currently seeing Dr. Regan). Looked for, and found, Dr. Kent Akerman, now at King West Vets, who was the first vet I started with at High Park, should have done this years ago.
