  • I was in from out of town and looking for ice cream (what a shock huh July in Phoenix). I haven't seen a Swensen's since I was a kid. Had lunch - Burger, fries and a salad. The salad was large for what they call a small dinner salad. The burger was cooked just the way I asked for it. I finished it all off with an ice cream soda. It was just as I remembered....perfect. The staff were friendly, got the order right and on time. On a side note I was approached by the owner. Apparently the business changed hands a few months ago, maybe the reason for the change in reviews (for the better). All in all it was just as I remembered. No complaints from me and I will definitely will be back when I'm in town again for business.
