| - Scott Walker is a con artist. Go there if you want to get ripped off.
I was told to work with the guy called "Scott Walker." We spoke about Subaru Forester of which the price came out after all the charges to be 35000. I asked him for discount pricing and he said that corporate gets 2000 discount and went ahead to calculate the figures with 2000 discount. After he was done, I was shocked to see that the price was still 35000. I asked him what's happening, and his response I want to keep the money to myself, and what he had done was to remove the 2000 dollars from 35000 and added it in Additional equipment. He said that he will keep the money to himself and not even give to dealership, he also mentioned that he will give me 1000 dollars if I like the deal and keep 1000 for himself.
I was shocked to hear this, and he went on and did the same thing while calculating the cost for a Crosstrek subsequently, I had him do this because I wanted to be sure of the con he was running.
Now comes the good part, when I told this guy what he was doing, he said that "if you know everything, why are you even in the dealership," and started to smile in a demeaning manner.
He threw his business card on me and said "do what you can."
I spoke to the GM called Bruce and when he worked up the price for the same car, it came out to be 33000. Bruce was sorry for Scott's behavior and apologized.
So please go there if you don't have any respect for yourself and want to get insulted, and you don't like your money.
Scott Walker is a disrespectful guy and should be given some training for a customer facing role.
