| - We have 5 kids, 2 dogs. Called Orangutan Wed after AC not working right. Tech came out, said was fine. Few hours later it stopped. Thurs tech came out & said motor out, not under warranty but it was. He said part be in & fixed Fri. Fri kept calling, were told: part not in; parts mgr would call us back, we were scheduled for Mon. Sat we bought portable AC $300. Sunday, our kids started puking from the heat. Mon, again nothing. We called 5 times, were told parts mgr would call us & we should've made other arrangements like a hotel. Called again, said scheduled for Tues 8-11AM. Tues, didn't show up. Called 3 times after 11, By 230 we were told we couldn't actually expect them to show up during the time frame.
Each time we called, were advised the parts manager would call us. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Often the people that answered were rude and indifferent because as they put it, they were "just the call center" and couldn't help.
We called a different company on Tues, had it fixed by Wed.
