  • Wanted to like this place so bad. The atmosphere is adorable. We chose this based on the reviews. We just couldn't love the food. I ordered a Sriracha drink that was more sour than anything and a pork porchetta that I just could not swallow. We did have some Brussels that were really tasty. My sister had a sandwich that the juice so soaked her bread that her bread turned to liquid on the bottom. I generally do not give low marks on unusual food but this was over-the-top awful. The waitress appeared to be accommodating and then I overheard her mocking us to the cook when all my sister had asked for was some bread that was not total mush. The manager never checked on us or why we were unhappy and they did not even offer to make anything right. I would never return to this restaurant again and as you can see from my previous reviews, I am not generally very critical. If the restaurant service had been more interested in customer service, I may have been willing to go back and try some different items based on so many great reviews but will not be back.
