  • I was a patron at the MGM Signature Lounge Bar in Tower One on the morning of Sunday 6/25/2017 and came in specifically for an advertised brunch service. Now and then I take a 'stay-cation' down on the strip from my home in Summerlin. When I arrived at the lounge, it was fairly busy and I took one of the last remaining tables. A gentleman came over, greeted me, and took my order immediately. As I sat waiting for my food to arrive, the lounge was filled quickly to capacity. I noticed that there were two employees in the lounge the entire hour or so I sat there, one male and one female. They seemed to both be bartending and serving, with the male primarily serving food at the tables and the female primarily bartending. They both were extremely pleasant with the guests, but also seemed very stressed. To be honest, I really wondered to myself how they were staying sane as it was so busy the entire time I was there, it really looked like one of those situations where an 'accident' is bound to happen soon. After about 30 minutes, my food arrived and it was cold, but I didn't say anything because I was rushed for time and ate my Eggs Benedict anyways. Fortunately I didn't get sick. I wonder if the kitchen is as short staffed as this lounge was. I saw in the newspaper that the CEO of MGM made $16.5 Million dollars last year, you'd think he could sacrifice a little of that money to hire more workers to better service the guests and employees who paid for his salary. I'm very disappointed in the management in the MGM corporation as a whole, I've seen a steady decline in the level of service for several years now, but also a steep increase in their properties' prices. And what do you mean I have to pay to park?! I think I'll start to take my money to the local casinos or away from Las Vegas period, these people are just too greedy, I miss the way the mob ran things.
