  • Been coming to this spot for years and have generally had decent experiences. This Ra location in particular has had its ups and downs throughout the years, but nothing ever so bad that I didn't want to go back. But what happened to my husband and I on Saturday was terrible and we won't be back. I had a sushi snack craving and so ordered one roll through Yelp/GrubHub for pickup and paid at the time of ordering. The order was confirmed and the estimated pickup time was 45-55 minutes, which is nuts, but ok. Eventually, the pickup time was changed to a specific time. My husband arrived at that time, only to find that the order was not ready and the hostess had no idea what he was talking about. So, my husband gave her my order number and showed her the email confirmation. She said their GrubHub tablet wasn't working and my husband asked to speak to a manager. The manager came out and said something along the lines of, "Oh, just one roll? That'll take like 10 minutes." (Cue eye roll.) The manager then suggested that my husband call GrubHub. And he leaves. As my husband is on the phone, the hostess comes back to tell him that the order finally went through. When my husband gets the roll 10 minutes after that, he asks to speak to the manager again. The manager comes back, smelling like cigarette smoke, and my husband explains the entire situation. The manager said it was their Yelp tablets that weren't working but once they rebooted them the order went through. But no apologies for the delay. No questions about how they could make it up to us. No acceptance of responsibility for the delay. One hour and twenty minutes after ordering, my husband got that one roll. And the roll wasn't the quality we have had in the past; definitely not worth the wait and frustration.
