  • I'd heard good things about the Old Fashioned, so myself and my human decided to give it a try. Since it was Friday and very busy, we took a seat at the bar and ordered drinks. I had a cherry mead, and it was FANTASTIC! Absolutely amazing. We were starving at that point, and we spotted a case of giant cookies behind the bar. So, being the trash pandas that we are, we asked for one. We found out that they are only a dollar and they are amazing. crispy on the edges, chewy and delicious. We got a table pretty quickly and ordered cheese curds and onion strings. They were amazing. We tried the ranch and the smoked paprika sauces, which were both really good. This and the cookie may have been my favorite part of the meal. I ordered the fish combo--cod, perch and walleye, with fries, coleslaw and rye. The fish was good, but the breading was fairly flavorless, which was a little disappointing. I could have done without the fries. They were really not good--kind of bland and too crunchy. And the coleslaw was good, but it could have used more seasoning, as it was also a little bland. I really loved the fine cut cabbage though. It's exactly how all coleslaw should be.
