  • Horrible experience! Made an appointment for 8am per their website. Noticed they don't open until 9am. So I called H&R Block to verify...they said they don't open till 9am and had no idea how I could have made a 8am appointment...smh...seriously. They said they could change it to 9am just to be sure that we had a morning appointment. So I agreed. I got an email with an H&R Block location far away from the one I asked for. Go figure they didn't verify any of my info over the phone so they used an old address. Called back and talked to someone else who changed it and again said that they don't have 8am appointments..so it has to be 9am. Finally got all of my info updated since it had been years using H&R Block. Now I remember why! Got a phone call later that week to remind me of my 8am appointment!! Even got an email and text reminder....so since they called while I was working I had to call when I could. I tried to get a hold of the lady who called but she had left already. So I expressed my concern to the office front desk guy. Told him about the time confusion and that I need a confirmation for the appointment. He told me to just listen to the voicemail and trust what they told me..so I did. Showed up 10mins till 8am...no one was there..waited until 9am....they arrived at 9am...without their keys to get in!!!! Had to then wait for someone else to arrive to unlock the store. At this point about 4 other families showed up waiting. What a nightmare! The ONLY reason I'm even giving 2 stars is because the lady was helpful when answering my questions about withheld percentages, itemizing, filing jointly, ECT... But boy do I regret it. She constantly kept messing up typing and made mistakes. She also kept getting confused on what she was doing. I don't trust having to pay $400 for a "professional"...NEVER GOING BACK
