  • When I moved to Avon Lake two years ago, I needed to find a good mechanic to work on my Scion xb. I originally took it into a place in Avon for an oil change and because rear brake felt hot and was told it needed $1200 worth of work. I found Pat's on-line and saw good reviews so decided to take it to them for a second opinion. They checked it out and told me what I needed to do for hundreds less than the first place. I trust Brian and Leo to do what I ask and not try to sell me a lot of services my car doesn't need. Took it in last week for an oil change. Leo told me it would probably be a couple of hours (I hadn't made an appointment and it was 11:30 a.m. on a weekday). They were busy. They finished it faster than they said and as always, I was happy to hear they just changed my oil and filter and put in some new windshield washer fluid. Always a thrill to leave an auto service place for less than $50.
