  • My friends, beau, and I were strolling around through downtown, following the huge Zambelli Fireworks show after the Pirates vs Cardinals AND Third Eye Blind concert at PNC Park. Whew, that was a mouthful. Given this, you can imagine that this hotel is very centrally located. I happened to glance through their glass windows and saw a live performer with a decent sized crowd inside. The beau loves live music, so I suggested heading inside to check it out and the fellas followed suit. We never got past the lobby, but the music was great and the atmosphere was very classy and sophisticated. There was even a comfortable seating area surrounding a fireplace and glasses of wine available. Even if you're not staying here, there's likely something nice for you to stop in and enjoy (as well as the rest of Pittsburgh, really) like we did. We didn't valet, but I saw that it was only $6.
