  • I'm going to admit it, I am addicted to Starbucks. Well, that is to say I was up until last Sunday when I tried Jimmy's for the first time. What a difference! In keeping with the autumnal season, I ordered a pumpkin spice latte. Not to sound completely cliche, but it was love at first sip. I honestly felt like I hadn't ever had a real latte before - there was no comparison to how creamy and satisfying it was. The flavouring wasn't overly sweet (when I order these at Starbucks, it can be hit and miss...sometimes I swear 1/2 the cup must be filled w. syrup) just a gentle spicy pumpkin note enveloped by creamy (despite it being skim!) latte goodness. I unfortunately don't work or live close to Jimmy's...meaning that my midday 'bux fix now only serves to make me wish I could be transported back to 107 Portland somehow... I also loved the vibe here. It was very welcoming and cozy. Extraordinary coffee. You won't regret trying it out! Apparently the baked goods are also quite delicious - they even have gluten free options available.
