| - Our 9 week puppy became ill in a matter of hours. She was acting very strange. Her ears were pinned back and she couldn't lay down. She would only sit. Her head was jerking side to side, she couldn't control it. It was apparent something was very wrong.
She continued to get worse. It was almost like a seizure that didn't stop. We were terrified.
We took her to Emergency Animal Clinic on Scottsdale Road just South of Pinnacle Peak. They were fantastic! They told us she was probably having a reaction to an accidental ingestion of a medicine, (which ended up being adderall) and wanted to do a urine test. Within 10 minutes they figured it out, and put her on fluids. They sedated her so she could finally sleep, and kept her overnight. She is doing GREAT!
The vet, Doctor Skaggs was wonderful! Caring, kind, and most importantly, knowledgeable. The clinc was spotless, and the staff was helpful and compassionate. They stayed in contact with me, and called when they said they would. I wish I could use them for my regular vet office visits!
They also initially thought our puppy would have to stay 2 nights. She ended up staying one, and because it wasn't a full 24 hours, they gave me a substantial refund! When does that ever happen?
I feel very fortunate to have gone to this clinic. I wish I could give them more stars!
