| - I flew in for the weekend to visit a friend. I went in for a pedi and my friend got a mani and a pedi. My technician did not speak ANY English. I was not able to communicate with her AT ALL. When I asked for water, she just smiled. Although she was very nice, she obviously lacked training and did not know what she was doing.
First, she cut too much off my cuticles, so I got a deep cut in one of my toes. I complained that it stung. My friend's technician helped translate and explained that it was the callous removal gel that hurt. Uh, okay... second, I paid extra for the callous removal. They use a cheese grater to remove the callous. After three days, I noticed that my heels are very rough and I have a deep cut. I get my nails done regularly, but had never gotten such a deep cut! Third, as she was painting my nails, her hand swiped over one of my nails. She wiped off the paint with acetone and put another coat.
I would never go there again. The place was clean and the staff were friendly, but the quality was mediocre at best.
