Of course I had to come here to try the famed almond torte eventually. It definitely was pretty unique--the way that the creamy texture of the inside meshed with the flaky almonds outside is not to be found anywhere else on any other pastry. It was almost perfect; personally, I think it was just a tad too sweet for my own tastes, but I can see why it has its fans.
I haven't tried anything else here yet, other than an almond cup one time when the torte was gone (the cup was just the right sized dessert actually), but they have a lot of other cute and interesting pastries. I would also praise their friendly service and efficient customer numbering system.
