  • the Toronto Lover system: 5 stars = Must visit! 4 stars = Really good. I take my friends here. 3 stars = Somewhat worth it... if you have nowhere better to go. 2 stars = Below average. Attend only when necessary. 1 star = Do not visit! I'm not sure what everyone loves about Communist's Daughter. It's small, so it's uncomfortably warm, and everyone is seated closely together. There're also very few seats, so you're out of luck if you want to sit with a group of friends when it's busy. It has the same beers as everywhere else, and the food is no better than anywhere else. I'm sorry: I'm glad they're successful, but this bar is overhyped. 3 stars
