  • I recently hopped a flight to Cedar Rapids, IA to attend a wedding. I use to fly Allegiant all the time. It has probably been 2 years since I last flew with them. This last trip put a bad taste in my mouth. I was appalled by all the fees! C'mon, a fee for my carry-on! Good thing I was staying with a friend and could get away with just a carry-on. The service was poor. the flight was shaky. So why fly with them: non-stop and cheap but at the rate they are going they won't be that much cheaper than other airlines.
