  • Ok so I checked out today and I must say this place is far more than I bargained for. Based of some of the reviews here I was very skeptical about this hotel. However low n behold I was pleasantly surprised ;+) This hotel was very nice for the price$$ It was hassle free parking. I almost felt it was to gud to be true especially having experienced driving around several times while staying on the strip hunting for parking. As far as the room 1747. Our view was nice. Especially at night with the lights off n our room. And the room SIZE itself was larger then all the standard hotel rooms I've stayed n thus far. The beds was comfy. All I can say is alot of the reviews here on Yelp clearly down play this hotel. I feel if one has Dom Perignon taste with Kool Aid money $ave urself the time n book at Belligio$ or Ceaser$ Palace. Other than that if ur not caught up on being directly on the strip then the Rio is a win win. So over all this hotel is now one of my top 3 hotels. If not my #1 choice. However it also depends on what ur situation is too. If u want strip life etc w/relaxing sun bathing then Ballys or Plant Hollywood. If u want strip life with a fun,friendly pool for adults n kids then Flamingo. And if u want a happy medium nice hugh clean affordable rooms but with in minutes of the strip Rio is the place 2b. Pros: hassle free parking comfy clean beds clean room wifi LARGER than norm standard rooms location (if u want off the strip/but close to the strip) affordable ;+) refrigerator incl. Cons: POOL HOURS 6am or 9am-6pm ;+( Bcuz of the pool hours is why this hotel didn't get a 5 out of 5 stars from me. After we checked n and grabbed a bite to eat the pool was closed. However the signed posted read pool hours 6am-6pm. So before we checked out we got up early to get a 7am swim n the pool hours was changed to 9am-6pm. Being that the pool is a must for my fam n I we was very disappointed ;+(
