| - We were married Jan. 21st at the Elvis Chapel. We selected it after reading quite a few reviews. We would highly recommend this Elvis Chapel for your wedding. There were just the two of us and we chose the basic package. At the chapel there was no pressure to spend more, but we did get the DVD for $60, which was great and highly recommended, as it was fun to show to friends and family.
The day we arrived, we were picked up by Presidential Limo (we highly recommend this service) for a quick trip to the license bureau for the pre-applied for marriage license. This took about 10 minutes at the bureau, then off to the Four Seasons, for the wedding the next day.
As to what to expect: We were picked up at the hotel by the Elvis Limo at the appointed time, for a 10-15 min. drive to the chapel. After a friendly check in at the front desk We were offically married on the spot by a licensed minister who had a desk conveniently located in the check-in area, which took 2 minutes.
Then into the chapel for the ceremony conducted by Elvis. It was a real ceremony with Elvis escorting the bride-to-be up the aisle where I was waiting on the raised stage. He was GREAT, friendly fun and a bit serious at the appropriate times.. Elvis sang two songs, good voice and outstanding Elvin mannerisims. The camera guy shot stills and videoed the ceremony. The ceremony took about 15 minutes. From limo arrival at the chapel until we got back in after the ceremony, the total time elapsed there was probably 30 - 40 minutes.
We had a great time and would recommend this chapel to everyone.
