I've gone to Mounds before for various items for my pets. They definitely can be pricier than other pet stores around, but they have some items that I can't find anywhere else. However, this past time I was in Mounds, I had an employee tell me that hay is not a necessary part of a rabbit's diet, and I was completely shocked. I corrected the employee and said hay should be 90% of every rabbit's diet, and she shrugged it off. If this is indicative of how they are training their employees, I can't trust them to give me advice on products to buy for my animals.
