| - Okay, I have never ever written a review about anything on this website before, but I tend to read them to see what people say about the place's.
I visited Toronto for a weekend and spent time with my cousins who live there. My cousins have been raving about the place- no pun intended. I was a little skeptical when they explained it was small, and dark. I decided it would just be a good idea to just go an check it out.
We pre gamed at a lounge not to far from Footwork, then continued our way to footwork. The parking is right next to the club so it is very easy to park. Once arriving there was no line and I was feeling nervous that it was empty... The bouncer was just like any regular bouncer, let us in with no problem (of course we were of age) we paid cover which was 20 on a Friday night - not bad....
From the second I walked in I knew I would be utterly in love with this place. The outline of the club is very simple and very small but yet you feel cozy in it. It was just the right amount of people and was not crowded at all.. The music was just simply amazing. The beats kept the place alive. There was no alcohol served because we arrived a little late, but there was no need if you catch my flow, just water.
The people that go there are people who probably have been coming to for years, every one is super friendly and no one will bother you while you dance. You have your own space to dance without anyone pushing you or shoving you. They have space heaters outside which will keep you warm on those cold Canadian nights.
We left at 5am, and I could have probably stayed longer. I would recommend this place to ANYONE. It is a must go if you are visiting Canada. I actually enjoyed it so much, I went back the next night believe it or not! Really cool people, nice crowd, amazinggggg beats, simple but beautiful.
YOU MUST GO HERE!!!! 5 stars - skip guvernment - too hectic..
& you could always proceed to go to comfort zone which is open until 11am ... yes 11 am ;)
enjoy
