  • It's funny how some of the menu items here I'd never had previously, but in the past few years have become absolute comfort food to me. I live a few blocks and make it here regularly, especially in the winter. The atmosphere is very Japanese, even the menu has the bright ,fun vibe to it. For such a small place there's lots of different seating options, from more private, to floor seating, to my favorite of sitting right by the griddle. I love duck, and the kamo-rosu really lets it shine. The takoyaki almost always makes it to our table. The real reason to head here, though, the the okonomiyaki and hiroshimayaki. I've had it other places since, but this is still my go-to. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and watching them cook is a real treat.
