  • My wife and I went back to our favorite Italian place in AZ, on Saturday. We could not have been more disappointed! I've reviewed la piazza before and have it 5 stars.... No more! They made major changes to the menu... No more meat lasagna, no more spaghetti and meatballs, and their bruschetta is now nothing more than pizza dough with a cup of diced tomatoes! No lasagna or spaghetti?? You do know you're an Italian restaurant, right?? Then my wife ordered a piece of their delicious homemade cheesecake to go! When we tried it later.... We swear it was Costco cheesecake, no where near what it used to be! We asked our waitress about the changes, and she said the changes were made to make things easier for the kitchen staff. All that says is... "lets take shortcuts"! Well... It showed! Needless to say, we're now in search of a new favorite Italian restaurant! We won't be going back and won't be recommending this once awesome place to anyone we know! Very disappointed!
