  • We tried OHSO tonight for my birthday because we had heard such great things about it. We were absolutely, terribly disappointed. First, it is incredibly overpriced. $17 appetizers and $12 cocktails... Second, if I am going to pay this much; which i am happy to; it should be delicious. The food was fine. Totally "good" and edible, but nothing special and not worth the price (for the record we tried the pretzel plate with sausage, the chips and guacamole, the Cobb salad, and the brisket). Again, good, but not great or in anyway noteworthy. Third, the service sucked. Our server was completely devoid of personality. He never chatted us up at all, never gave any suggestions, never told us about the place or things he recommended, didn't bring our side plates, when asked they were dripping wet, no ketchup, etc. My friend ordered a beer that was never brought to her. It was just one disappointment after another. We were there celebrating, he never inquired about that... nothing. As a group we were all totally disappointed. We had narrowed our choices down to here, postino, or AZ Wilderness for a night out and totally regret our choice.
