  • Service is bad. The guys cheer you at the entrance only to forget about your existence second after. When you finally call them and ask to do their job, they look very busy, even with the place almost empty. Once we've arrived there 10 minutes before the lunch time end, and were denied the lunch menu nevertheless. The server haven't change her mind even after politely pointing out that we still have some time before the deadline. Place is not that awfully dirty, but quite "used", not maintained well. You can actually stick to the table if you are lucky to get the one greasy enough. Food itself is just "ok" for the price. It is difficult to find decent sushi in Toronto, and Guirei is definitely not an impressive spot menu-wise. Nothing really bad, neither anything to dream about. There is also a government housing next block, which is not fun to have around while waiting for a streetcar, or getting out of the parking to the normally packed Lakeshore West.
