  • My Honda Civic needed new brakes and rotors, and after being told by Canadian Tire (Dalton Drive) that the price would be double what I expected AND that I MIGHT need calipers as well for a grand total of $1,300.00, I gave Kevin a call to see if he could provide a quote over the phone. He offered me a reasonable price for the parts/work to replace the brakes and rotors and mentioned that in his experience he has NEVER had to replace calipers on a Honda Civic. Needless to say, I took my car to Kevin to complete the work the next day at 8:30 a.m. When I arrived, he remembered me, found the quote he had written up, reviewed it with me and told me that would be the price I would pay, plus GST. Being very wary of auto service people, I left my cell # and said to call if there would be any further charges or surprises. At 10:00 a.m. I received a call and braced for the worst. But, it was only a call to let me know my car was ready to go! The service I received was professional and honest. The price was reasonable, and the time to complete the repair was exactly as Kevin has said it would be (in and out within about an hour). This auto repair experience was truly a breath of fresh air compared to ALL other service departments I've dealt with. I can (and will) confidently recommend Kevin's shop to anyone who needs brake work done. Thank you Kevin!
