What a wonderful surprise! New here to Arizona and have been dining at quite a few subpar places. Yelped this place and gave it a shot.
Taste: 4/5
I had the German special of the day and it was fantastic! It was the jäger schnitzel, au gratin potatoes, red cabbage, cream of mushroom soup and a drink. I enjoyed everything except for the red cabbage but that's honestly just personal preference. Jäger schnitzel was crisp and flavorful, also they are hand breaded and fried to order!! Cream of mushroom soup was home made and filled with fresh veggies, au gratin potatoes were also good!
Value: 5/5
My meal only cost me $8.99 plus tax! What a steal for the amount of food I got. Also great quality food as well. In addition, sandwiches appeared to be priced to sell!
Decor: 4/5
Local art work on the wall that are available to purchase. Aside from that there was nothing special but Oma keeps the place very clean so that's definitely welcomed!
Service: 5/5
Oma was very accommodating! She was patient and explained the menu to me. Oma is also very friendly and more than willing to strike up a conversation. For the most parts, she also runs the whole operation by herself!
I will definitely be back! Not only to support local small businesses, but because of the food very good, and the service is fantastic. Definitely give this little hidden gem a try if you're in the area!
