  • Great selection of GMO free locally sourced organic foods. This is about the only place in the Cornelius Davidson area you can get a good selection of healthier cleaner food choices at a grocery store. We probably spend upwards of $1000 a month at this grocery store which brings me to the next point that my husband has a real problem with: Very mediocre customer service. Some of the employees are consistently out and out rude some are very warm and friendly but the friendly ones seem to be picked on a little bit by the management, especially the younger friendly ones. There's an older gentleman named Johnny has never and I mean never failed to ask me how I am and if he can help me. He should be in charge of training all new employees. Unfortunately this is not the case. Butcher department knowledgeable helpful and never had an unpleasant experience with them. Way too many employees loitering in the vitamins soap shampoo section chatting and talking amongst themselves regularly. If you interrupt and asked him for help they're usually but not necessarily enthusiastically willing to help you. Very glad they have fresh squeezed organic juices now. They are delicious and the recipes are good. There's slight inconsistencies depending on who's making it but I only had a bad one once and that employee was fired because according to rumor he was altogether cuckoo apparently. Not sure how this place can possibly survive an Earthfare moving in nearby unless they really do a 180 on customer service training, Which I hope they can work on because I love to support local independent businesses versus chains..
