  • I took a beginners handgun course at this location a couple of years ago and then purchased my handgun at this store and use the range for practice. The facility is well kept up. The classroom was comfortable, the bathrooms clean and there were vending machines and cafe tables available. My course instructor was peculiar, but very knowledgeable and left me feeling confident. The course provided time for us to fire different handguns. This was helpful to be able to operate different guns for deciding what type of firearm was right for our needs. Upon returning to purchase, the sales staff was very knowledgeable, informative and I did not at all feel they were pushy. There was a large selection of new guns to choose from. In using the range, typically I've only waited a few minutes to sign in, but at busy times, it does take a while if someone in front of you is borrowing a firearm and indecisive. There are 20 lanes and I've never had to wait for one. There are also safety officers on duty and they are helpful as needed. I've always felt safe here and confident they all follow their policies strictly. I'd recommend Point Blank, especially for newer gun owners. They pay attention and give lots of unpretentious assistance as needed.
