  • Wish I could rate Rio 0 stars, but I suppose I will go with 1 just to get the word out. Horrible, unprofessional, unorganized and shady are just a few words that come to mind. While the few classes that I took at Rio to supplement my BA were okay, the inconvenience of the problems that follow far outway any benefits. I received my BA through Indiana University and their online program, which was awesome! But I was forced to use the Rio testing centers, which was a nightmare. Lost tests, slow delivery, shady facilities, rude and uneducated employees, etc. Even having them send my transcripts to IU was a battle. 3 requests later they were finally sent. Rio gives the other Maricopa Community Colleges a bad reputation. Please take our advice and stay away from Rio, but DO try any of the other Maricopa Community Colleges. I have had good experiences with PVCC, SCC and GCC.
