  • About 2 weeks ago, I had to go to a wedding and I was in desperate need of a piece of jewelry that would compensate for the fact that I had no date. In my opinion, there is only one place to go, Made you Look. This local-designers' jewelry co-op and boutique has been around since the early gentrification of the Queen and Dufferin area and I believe has a big part in its popularity. All the glittering jewelry on hand is uniquely designed and well-priced. And purchasing there makes you feel like you've just bought yourself a piece of valuable art. That day, I bought a wonderful, genuine turquoise necklace by a designer named Jilian Maddin and thank God for her....A perfect necklace is much more enjoyable than having to baby-sit a date.
