| - I cashed out some points to stay here this past weekend. Got a 1 bedroom suite on the 9th floor. I don't know if being a Marriott rewards member had anything to do with it but we had a room with a decent view of the south end of the strip and a even better view of Gorden Biersch. (http://static.px.yelp.com/bphoto/nGkR2Gv6OJ7HXmlFdAykeA/l) I can drop a quarter and hit their customer on the head, that's how close I was to GB. I've been to a few Residence Inns and this one so far tops the list. It is quiet, clean, and conveniently located from most strip areas and even downtown areas. The wireless internet access inside the rooms were easy to connect., just open browser and say yes to the user agreement. What I didn't like inside the room was the small TV. It looked like it was a 19" and it was the same size in the bedroom as well as the living room. I am so accustomed to 25" and larger. Yes, I watched the Olympics when I was in Vegas....call me traditional...call me boring...I'm the homey type.
The exercise room was small, it had only a few weights but three treadmills and I think three steppers. They have a small water fountain but no water dispenser inside here. Again, the small TV on the wall.
The hearth room has free breakfast and morning paper. They have hot foods including eggs, sausages, pancakes, waffles, potatoes. Also includes regular food you find like yogurt, fruit, cereals, muffins, juices, and coffee. Oh, they have 2 internet stations with printers so you can print your boarding pass for free! They also have 2 large LCD TVS here. Finally!
I would totally come to stay here again since I'm not a lover of 2ndary smoke. Parking here wasn't too difficult if you want to park in the garage, you just have to come home a bit earlier than others. I love that this place was able to relax me from the hustle and bustle of my everyday hectic life...at least just for 48 hours.
