  • Giving Pet food Depot 4 out of 5, it would have been 5 except for the extremely rude comment made by the vet at the Sat. afternoon immunization clinic. But first the good, store has everything I need for my beloved Chi and reasonable prices too! The young man working the cash register saved me quite a bit of money when he pointed out that the bag of Greenies I was going to buy was actually on sale in a bigger bag for the same price! I actually got about twenty extra treats by him showing me this sale. Awesome! Now the bad, While I love the Sat. afternoon immunization clinic( the prices are very reasonable,) and its so convenient. The vet who immunized my Chi mentioned that his teeth needed cleaning, I agreed with the vet and told him unfortunately I did not have the funds to pay for it at the moment.. His reply was "Yeah just wait until they turn green and fall out" I was completely floored by his rude attitude and comment. First of all this is a shot clinic, I didn't know he was giving wellness exams, especially dental exams with the immunizations. Second his comment was not meant to be helpful professional advice, it was offensive, and critical and I left the store ashamed and feeling like the worlds worst pet owner. I have't been back since. I realize this vet is not an employee of Pet food Depot that is why I still give them 4 stars.I wonder how many other people he has offended and how many customers Pet Food Depot has lost due to this persons rude, snobby, better than thou attitude and comments. I won't go back there as long as he is there, even if its only Saturday afternoons. (As for my Chi's teeth? Well I found a wonderful tech who charges only $80, she does an awesome job and doesn't use anesthesia!. She is employed at a grooming shop on the southwest corner of 75th ave. and Tbird) Best money I ever spent! Mia
