| - This is a great place to live location-wise, though the prices are a little high for the area. Maintenance is responsive, neighbors aren't disruptive, and the new coffee shop downstairs is delightful. We lived here for two years and never experienced any real problems (until we moved out, which is a sentiment that several previous neighbors have echoed).
More important than the property itself, beware of the office staff, especially Derek. He either doesn't know what he's doing, lies through his teeth, or is really good at playing dumb. There used to be a woman named Joyce who was cut from the same cloth, but she works across the street at Proxy 33 now, so this next comment applies to that property as well.
Make sure everything they tell you you get in writing, especially if it will affect you positively or negatively in the future. I'm not confident that would matter anyway because as Derek will say to you after making promises he has no intention of or is not capable of keeping, they'll have your signature on a contract and all you'll have is "he-said, she-said." Also, the carpet will turn your bare feet black and they'll make you pay for carpet cleaning.
With all the new construction downtown, there are bound to be better options than this place.
