I forgot about this place until my friend suggested it as a less busy dinner option. We still had to wait 20 minutes on a Saturday night but that was probably less than other spots.
We decided to get the chicken wings appetizer and our server suggested we mix the medium sauce and Gold Medal sauce, a Southern BBQ mix of vinegar and mustard. Those were delicious and we finished them. For our burger, we ordered and split the jalapeño popper with the veggie patty. The description sounded promising: guacamole, cream cheese, cheddar, and jalapeño poppers on a pretzel bun. However, all together it was bland. The flavors didn't stand out and there was no kick, the jalapeños weren't spicy and I had to add salt but it didn't help. It needed spice and heat for sure, maybe something sweet to balance too.
Not sure I'd rush back anytime soon, considering how many other dining options there are in Old Town, but the wings were worth it.
