| - Stopped in to get a dozen donuts on my way to work, so I was only focused on the donut case. The donuts were warm and larger than most. I ordered a dozen mixed donuts ($12) and got maple bars, chocolate bars, apple fritters, etc. The lady tossed in an extra glazed donut to give me a baker's dozen. As I was paying, the registered said $12.99 (tax, I presume). I paid by debit and she folded the receipt and handed it to me.
As I was backing away with my receipt in hand, I picked up one of their business cards and read "cronuts." I've heard of them, but never had or saw one. I asked the clerk what a cronut is, and she gave me one! Now I know what that craze is all about! Glazed croissants!
I left the store, put the donuts on my back seat and the receipt in my console and went to work. The donuts were delicious! After work, as I was driving home, I looked at the receipt. $16.24! Huh? I guess that delivery fee listed here on Yelp was tacked on to the debit payment. Thought I found a new place, but they're not THAT good.
