  • I saw Dr. Reddy for a second opinion for a pituitary/thyroid/adrenal disorder. They said that she specializes in certain conditions, including adrenal problems. She attended medical school in India. I was seen in both the Chandler and Scottsdale offices, and had an extremely long wait every time. I found Dr. Reddy to be arrogant, condescending, and not knowledgeable enough regarding my condition. She works with 4 other endocrinologists, so if she doesn't know the answer, why not ask the others? I believe that she is just too prideful to admit that she doesn't know, and doesn't want to admit to her colleagues that she doesn't know, either. She called me a "complicated case," and seemed very angry because she couldn't answer my questions and didn't seem to want to help me. She just didn't care. She argued with me over natural thyroid replacement (like Armour.) She didn't seem very open to that, although her staff said that she does prescribe it. I thought to myself, "Why on earth did you become a doctor if you really don't care about patients and their suffering?" Her staff is incompetent, rude, and uncaring. I don't know why they got into the health care field, either. Probably just for job security and a paycheck, not because they want to help people. It usually takes days to get a return call, because you are largely dealing with an automated system and voicemail I had to leave a voicemail, just to make an appointment. Dr. Reddy's medical assistant, Melodie, had no compassion, either, even though I was suffering and in pain. One of the lab girls, who was to perform a stimulation test on me, didn't even know what she was injecting into me. We actually got into any argument about it. The waiting room is like Grand Central Station, it's so busy. The chairs are not comfortable at all, considering the long, boring waits. There have been such long lines at the check-in desk at the Chandler office, that patients were backed-up almost to my knees as I was sitting. I will never return to see Dr. Reddy again. I really feel that she couldn't have cared less if I had lived or died. Ditto for her office staff. Go somewhere else where they actually care. This place is not professional or very ethical, in my opinion. And I'm a nurse.
