  • To the cashier who called me "sweetheart" and told me to take my propane gas tank outside twice as if I was senile around 4:00 pm today I'm not your sweetheart. I hesitated because I wanted to ask you a question but you chose to immediately repeat your order to take the tank outside. Please refrain from calling people you think are old dear or sweetheart or honey. It's ageism just like racism or any other ism It's extremely offensive. You aren't the only one but I have decided to fight back. I just want you to be aware because you are young that you are offending older customers by doing that Home Depot it is the south but please train your people not to use condescending language like that.
