  • I was going to write a three star review on this restaurant but Catherine's excellent service brought it up. First let me tell you what drove the star rating down. It is a cool day in Avondale and my wife and I didn't want to sit by the door in the table offered by the host. He gave us a hard time and finally set us at a table that was still dirty from the previous occupants. Catherine was embarrassed that we had been set at a dirty table (the paper placemat was stuck to the table, no place setting) and she quickly remedied the situation. Once Catherine took over we had exceptional service and the meatloaf was excellent and it was served in a timely manner.
